For your vacation there is a beautiful, lovingly designed, historic farmhouse, surrounded by fig, olive and alfarro trees. Just relax and leave everyday life behind; Recharge your batteries and stop and enjoy life in the unique rural setting of Southern Portugal. Relaxing walks and hikes with wind and sun and a beautiful view of the valley with a sweeping view of the surrounding hills and the nearby sea on the horizon ensure pure relaxation.
House and Terrace
Look forward to a functionally equipped, detached holiday home on an idyllic and very spacious property and relaxing hours on the large, partially covered terrace. The old farmhouse near Gorjoes between Loulé and Faro has been renovated with love and charm in recent years. The new gable roof with large window elements lets a lot of light into the house. The beautiful atmosphere in the house invites you to relax, dream and feel good. The house consists of a main house and an annex. Both halves of the house have recently been completely renovated. The entire roof has been renewed in 2020.
Room and Equipment
Comfortably furnished rooms await you in the house and offer space to feel comfortable and in the bright and very high main room, consisting of the living room and the adjoining, lower-lying kitchen, you can relax and enjoy the tranquility; delicious to eat with open patio doors or to end the evening together by the fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped: all kitchen appliances and the coffee machine are ready for use. Cooking is done on the gas stove. Dishes and cutlery are available for 10 people. There are six bedrooms (four in the main house and two in the annex) with a total of 10 beds. In the main house, all rooms are directly adjacent to the very large, central main room, from which you can access the large terrace via three external doors.

Heating
The house has a central heating system and a very good fireplace in the large living room in the main house. The annex has been added an underfloor heating. Based on this the house is espacially in the cold month cosy and dry. We heat with solar and an air heat pump.
Wireless Internet Access
WiFi in the main house is stable and sufficient for streaming.
Pool
There is a 7.4m x 3.2m x 1.2m steel wall pool on the property for cooling off. The pool is mantained in the time from March, 15 until end of September. In addition, 1,793 km of beautiful coastline are at your feet in the immediate vicinity. An outdoor shower is provided for you by the pool.
Surrounding area
Portugal's infrastructure has improved dramatically in recent years. Trips to Seville, Lisbon or the Cabo de Sao Vincente are completely unproblematic. When renting your rental car, please ask if you can drive to Spain. You are from Quinta do Grou

Shopping
The next village, Santa Barbara de Neixe, with shops for daily needs, such as a small supermarket, a bakery and the post office, can be reached in 10 minutes by car. LIDL and ALDI can be found in Loulé or Sao Bras. Both towns are easily accessible by car in 15 minutes.
